The most effective ways to achieve sustainable change are to get the desired change embedded in law and to influence others to be part of the change.

I led an advocacy team who were doing great work holding companies to account for plastic waste and bringing waste-pickers into UN Treaty negotiations.

My experience includes:

• Directing a NORAD-funded environmental advocacy project.

• Managing government relations and engagement strategy.

• Embedding advocacy in project activities to change the enabling environment.

• Influencing through formal consultations.
